Getting organized

        As you can see, I'm still getting my house in order.  The transition from writer to businessman is daunting, and there is so much that I don't know.  I always thought writing the books would be the hard part, but little did I know...  Now with a book out there, I have to find a way to sell it if it isn't to simply stagnate, to rot on the vine, if you will.
        Beginning with this post, what you find here will be posts about the mechanics of writing.  The settings, the characters, the technology of the age will be shared and hopefully discussed here.  Over at my Goodreads blog will be posted items concerning the business side of the process, mainly the marketing and sales aspects, and over there I will probably be asking more questions than I answer.
        Hopefully, I'll have all of this down to a science and in its final form before too many more attempts.  I usually try to take care of my bloggy business on Mondays, but we're headed into Christmas week, and that may not be possible.  If not, look for me on the 30th.  That will give me time to think of something to say, in any case.  Everyone have a wonderful Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, Saturnalia, or whatever, and I'll be talking to you soon!
